Red Rocks Wedding

I only take on a handful of weddings each year so when MyKyla and Chris came to me about their wedding day ideas of having a small intimate ceremony at the beautiful Red Rocks in Morrison with all special moments captured as they naturally unfolded,  I knew this was a fit from the start. 

They emphasized how important having documentary photos of all the joyful expressions of love and emotion between family and friends were, and most importantly the spot where Chris proposed was where they hoped to capture their wedding day portraits. 

Although the weather forecasted rain from the start making things a bit uncertain, the ominous weather turned into only foggy conditions creating a beautiful romantic backdrop for their most special day. 

A the very heart of their portraits amidst the fog and low lying clouds was a treasured family heirloom-Chris' grandfathers' vintage Buick he inherited after he passed. It set the scene for such a cinematic throwback vibe making their love shine even more so.
