Capturing Joyful Motherhood Moments at the Creek

As I look out the window while writing this, the initial autumn leaves beginning to turn and slowly fall, I'm reminded how fleeting moments and seasons are.

It's why I'm so passionate about capturing the season of motherhood, all it's entrances and many exits, passing moments filled with joy and abundance and the precious real life encounters we are able to experience on a daily basis. And while there are tears at times, both theirs and ours, we know those too are fleeting.

I find when we can be surrounded by nature, the stillness on the outskirts beyond the edges of "hurry and hustle", we get to engage with our children and them with us in a deeper way. It seems to be the Mother Nature inviting us to slow down, pay attention, and be present in the moment.

These too will pass quickly, our memories will become hazy and blurred of the actual events as they unfolded. But having them documented always with a keen eye on the lookout for those tender touches, a mother's hug soothing away the tears, the chaos and joy that is ever present, and as many little in between moment that you didn't even know you loved until you see them...this is the heart of connection, your most precious memories preserved forever.
